Why do I have to create an account before I can add items to my cart?
   Almost all ecommerce sites require the creation of some form of account before you can complete an order. Because CCGTrader.net operates on limited, out of print inventory (we can't just call up Wizards and order some more Morphlings when we run out), we require that you create an account before creating a cart, rather than right before actually completing the order. This helps cut down on instances where someone adds a bunch of items to a cart, making them unavailable for other people to purchase, and then decides not to complete the order at the last minute.
What payment methods do you accept?
   We accept many payment types. If you choose to pay for an order immediately, you can pay by paypal, e-check, or Credit Card.

If you would prefer to mail payment with your trade-in cards, we accept Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, and Personal Checks. However, if you choose to pay by Personal Check, your order will not be released until your check has cleared. This delay is usually no longer than 4 business days.


Why can't I purchase some cards that show that they are available?
   As we add sets in and inventory them, we lock them until all of our inventory is entered and prices are updated and verified.


I am trying to get out of Magic: The Gathering, do you buy entire collections?
   Yes, we will ocassionally buy entire collections. If you would like us to give you a quote on buying your collection, please make us a complete list of rares, uncommons, and key commons. It is not necessary to list every single common, as most have no resellable value. The list needs to be in a particular format, or it may take us quite a while to get you a quote. Our preference is for you to use Microsoft Excel to create your list. You should list the information in the following order:
Edition, Card Name, Condition, Qty

If you do not have Excel, than you can use a plain text file. List the same information, but seperate each field with a comma (,).

Once you have the file completed, email it to us at service@ccgtrader.net and we will try to get you a quote within 2-3 business days.


Why do your shipping prices seem higher than other places I've seen?
   Our shipping is a bit higher than other sites because we do not rely on the US Postal Service. All of our cards are shipped via UPS, and are double packed to ensure that your order arrives 100% undamaged. Shipping by UPS also allows us to track your order in the event that it does not arrive in a timely manner. Further, in the extremely unlikely event that your order is lost or damaged, UPS quickly reimburses the value or the cards.


How does CCGTrader.Net grade its cards?
    Mint: This is a card that is perfect in every way. Note that we do not list cards as Mint, as technically any card that has been handled is Near Mint. Add to this the fact that trying to differentiate between perfect and almost perfect with any degree of reliability and consistency makes seperating Mint and Near Mint an administrative and inventory nightmare, and you can see the reason why we elected to do this.
Near Mint: This unplayed card shows almost no wear. It may have a few minor scratches or slight marks on the edges.
Fine: This card has obviously been played, but not heavily. It lacks marks that would make it easily identifiable. It has some minor scrathces and/or less than perfect edges. It will show less than 1/16" depth of white along one or two edges of one face of the card. It may have a minor crease that is only visible close up.
Good: This card has a played look to it. It will have white showing on three or four edges on both faces. It may also have more than 1/16" depth of white showing on an edge on the back face of the card. It may also be a card that looks like a near mint card except for one distinguishing wear feature, such as a slight tear or easily identifiable crease. It may also have permanent black marks from dirt. It is only acceptable for play if it cannot be easily distinguished from the other cards in the deck.
Poor: Any card in less than good condition. Usually unplayable unless the deck is sleeved.


Are there any requirements for the cards I trade in?
    Yes, all cards you trade in must be in Mint or Near Mint condition. Cards received in less than near mint condition will be sent back to you and will not be credited towards your order.


Is there an easy way to get a list of the cards that you will buy?
    The easiest way to get a list of the cards we are intersted in buying, is to select the game from the left hand toolbar, and then click on "Our most wanted list" in the upper right. Then look for cards with "**" next to the trade price. Be aware that if you choose to take cash for these cards instead of trades, there will be a 30% premium applied automatically to whatever portion you take as cash.


I'm having trouble completing my order, or other technical problems.
    The first thing to try is to log out of the site, clear your browser cache and cookies (you will need to refer to your web browsers documentation for instructions on doing this). Then log back into the site. This corrects 99% of the problems we see. If you still have problems after doing this, please use the Contact option on the left hand toolbar to contact our technical support.

To clear your cookies and cache in Internet Explorer:
Click "Tools" -> "Internet Options" Then click on the buttons marked "Delete Cookies" and "Delete Files" and click "Ok" in the confirmation dialog box that comes up for each.


What is your mailing address?
    Our shipping address will be provided to you automatically when you complete an order.
NOTE: DO NOT send us cards if you have not completed an order. They will not be credited to your account, and will only be returned at your expense.


The checkout button is disabled or does not appear when looking at my cart.
    In order to complete the checkout process, your cart must be at $0 or higher. If you currently have a higher trade-in value in your cart than the value of the cards you are buying, you will not be able to checkout until you add an additional purchase to your cart, or remove some of your trade-ins to bring the total of [Purchases] - [Tradeins] to $0 or greater.
